Hint: On trips I've used my car seat belt pad while driving to the airport. Changed it to my luggage strap to cushion heavy bags. Then took it off and laid it over the hard plastic airline seat armrests.  After the flight it goes back on my luggage then on the rental car seat belt strap.  During sightseeing trips it pads my tote bag strap and when I'm ready to sit down, I open it flat to use as a seat pad.
